Honoring the Sacred Environment of the Meditation Hall
An aspect of our Siddha Yoga culture is to truly honor ourselves as well as others. We honor the inner as well as outer expression of the Self. One way we embody this is by dressing appropriately in the sacred space of the meditation hall. We honor the hall, ourselves and the Siddha Yoga teachings by looking our best during the learning sessions, chants, and satsangs held in the meditation hall.
With this in mind, all who attend satsang and other events at the Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Greater Boston are asked to please wear nice, clean, modest clothing (e.g., kindly refrain from wearing shorts, jeans, or tops that are low-cut, sleeveless, or sheer).
